Very nice woolly mammoth tusk of 150 cm long measured on the outer curvature, with a diameter of 10.5 cm at its widest and a weight of 10 kg. This specimen was dredged up from the bottom of the North Sea years ago by a fisherman. The tusk has been professionally treated against decay, making it a nice smooth tusk today that is stable and solid. The last 15 to 20 cm of the tip has undergone restoration, which was very professionally done and hardly stands out or is disturbing. Here and there are small cracks and a small hole, but nothing shocking. The tusk has nice colours which is well visible in the pictures. The pictures are part of the description and provide an honest impression. The tripod is included. Pick-up is preferred. Shipment outside of the Netherlands in consultation. Shipping within Europe will cost approximately 150 euro. Shipping costs charged in excess will be refunded. Should the shipping costs be higher than the indicated rates, there will be consultation. Up to 200 km it can be delivered for € 0.18 per kilometre. Meeting halfway is also possible.
