Beautiful antique coal scuttle of cast iron, also called turtle because of its shape.
The lid is richly decorated with flowers and an image of Zeus surrounded by Rococo roles.
Under the image the inscription "Corneau Freres, A Charleville Ardennes".
The lid has a brass knob and the tray stands on 4 feet.
The heavy object is in very nice condition.
Weight 23 kg in total, 60 L, 38 wide, 33 high. Inscription: Corneau Freres A Charlesville Ardennes.
