The 35mm stainless steel case excluding the crown and 42mm from lug to lug is in good condition throughout. The winding crown is completely original and correctly signed with the famous “Rolex” logo. Like other vintage Rolex Oyster Date watches, ref 6694 features a date aperture window at the 3 o’clock mark. Above the gris dial sits an acrylic crystal with a fixed cyclops magnified date window for easier viewing. This model features a original rare gris dial signed "Rolex Oyster Date" , "Precision", " -T Swiss T-". A hours, minutes, and a central second hand. At the heart of this watch is a legendary high grade movement calibre 1215, on 17 jewels, which is an extremely reliable and nicely finished movement.Though this watch must be manually wound, it offers a nice vintage flair with such a distinctive movement.
