1948 FERRANIA 'Rondine' 127 Camera. Manufactured in Italy by Ferrania from 1948, the Rondine is of all-metal cast-alloy construction, with black leatherette finish and polished edgings. It comes in good overall condition with only mild signs of use/age. The lens is unscratched with mild interior dust. The shutter works. It has two viewfinders, one a reflex type, the other a folding sports viewfinder. The camera used 127 film, giving 4cm x 6cm exposures. It also had a facility for mounting a tripod. It had a side-mounted facility for reloading film and a novel spring-loaded system to hold the film firmly in place during exposure. An interesting little 70-year-old collectable.
