The dimensions vary between 25.5 x 16.5 cm and 31 x 24 cm. Condition: A very fine copy of this well readable reference work about the history of Batavia. Special is the addition of the index part. The text parts and the illustration atlas were published in 1921 without index. This generated a lot of complaints, which led to a loose published index part a year later. Most copies were sold by then and a lot of people didn’t buy the index, the reason why it is missing with most copies. The picture atlas was part of the numbered luxury edition (this is no. 7).
