OFFICINE GALILEO FERRANIA CONDOR II, EXPORT VERSION (DISTANCE SCALE ‘feet’)
This is one of the low thousands, or, more likely, of the few hundreds made for the US market out of the ~ ten thousand ever made in all versions: it was distributed in the fifties by the Officine Galileo and Ferrania exclusive agent G.A. Buttafarri of New York.
This specimen is in EXC+ shape, both mechanically and aesthetically: shutter works at all settings (accuracy not tested), aperture blades are clean, lens ESAOG 1:2 F=5cm shows minimal cleaning marks, finder is clean, rangefinder very contrasty and correctly H/V aligned, just a bit off distance, more apparent at infinity.
Comes with lens cap, leather eveready case sporting the Officine Galileo logo on the front side and a small case including the original sunshade and a O.G. G3-36 yellow filter.
