Original hand drawn pencil sketch (ca. 1940's/1950's) by one of the earlier Disney Staff Artists. It has been professionally framed using archivial materials to preserve the piece. Artwork is 8 1/2” X 11” double matted to 15 1/2” X 18 1/2” frame dimensions. Mint condition . "FF" initials in lower right corner Has been attributed to mr Frank Follmer by the former owner, although this seems unlikely. Frank Follmer worked at the Walt Disney Studios from 1937 through 1940. He is credited at the Disney Studios as an effects animator, unlikely to have been involved in Character drawing. Comes with a copy letter by the Disney archives and also includes a copy of a signed note to "Frank" from Disney Artists Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston , two of Walt Disney's "nine old men.
