These plates represent an couple of elephants in an ancient decoration: a man facing left, holding his walking stick and his hat in his hand and a woman facing right, holding a Greyhound. The two plates are lined with asymmetrical rocaille volutes of Louis XV inspiration.

The décor is very neat and finely chiselled, because they are biscuits of the nineteenth.
The total height of the plates is 19 cm (= approximately 7 "1/2")
The width is 7.5 cm approx. to the widest (= 3 ")
