Antico "Vexillum Legionis", "Legio Mariae", - Smalto, marmo
On this rare Vexillum Legionis you see a dove, the emblem of the Holy Spirit, with red guilloche enamel.
Rare antique 'Vexillum Legionis', 'Legio Mariae', special section Catholic church - 1930.
Just below the dove there is a cross-bar with the inscription "Legio Mariae", with a rose and a lily.
Below the cross-bar an oval frame with the representation of the Immaculate Conception (miraculous medal) with blue enamel.
Around the oval you see "O Maria, sinus Labe Concepta, Pro Nobis Ad Te Recurrentibus Ora" with the date "1830" on the bottom. This stands on a green alabaster marble globe, that represents the world, attached to a square brown marble base.
The legion belongs to the Catholic church, it was approved by the last 6 Popes and approved by the Second Vatican Council.
Excellent condition.

Height 33 cm - pedestal 11.5 cm x 11.5 cm - weight is 1.9 kg
