I sell an English regulatory flintlock pistol of cavalry Tower Light Dragoon New Land Pattern
Total length: 41 cm.
Barrel length: 23 cm
calibre : 16.5 mm (. 65)
Weight: 1.3 kg
Year: circa 1810
Light flint pistol of the British dragons new model was made after 1800 under the reign of George III (1760-1820).
Military pistol used by the British cavalry during the Napoleonic wars.
Well marked lock ‘Tower’ and ‘GR’ under crown (King George III) with a large arrow.
Thunder with well-marked punches.
All fittings in brass.
Metal parts: no trace of oxidation, perfect inside of the barrel
Mechanism in good condition, complete and functional without any play, very strong springs.
Wood in walnut, very correct condition, healthy, in its original varnish.
