Beautiful lion’s head sword for officers with sword knot. Gilded bracket hilt embellished with oak leaf decor. Lion’s head with two inserted red glass eyes. Cross guard with imperial eagle. Black plastic grip with complete wire wrapping, which is completely intact. Black, originally varnished steel scabbard nearly completely preserved. Clean blade with nice blood groove. The leather bolster is missing. Manufacturer logo on the blade *Alcoso Solingen*. Including the original sword knot with silver cords showing slight abrasions. Very beautiful sword in nice state of preservation.
