Rare grocer’s scale from N.V. "National" Voorburg, in original condition.
Type SL: large format No. 4938. 63 cm high, 54 cm wide, 25 cm deep. Weighing capacity 10 kilos. The scale itself weighs about 20 kilos. The scale has a beautiful red-brown colour and features the Dutch Manufacturer coat-of-arms.It rests on four feet.
Condition: original condition, including the original measuring bowl and plateau. The scale functions. However, the tip of the hand at the front needs to be straightened. Also, the hand at the back is off plumb. See pictures. The glass plates are missing. Please see the pictures for an impression.
The scale can be picked up in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
