On offer is a stunning set of Waterman Ideal Gentleman "pin-stripe" Sterling Silver Ballpoint and Fountain Pen in an immaculate condition as per photographs, with its own original presentation box. These pens are all hallmarked as pure Sterling Silver, and the fountain pen has a solid 18kt gold "Ideal / Paris" nib graded Medium. It is a cartridge/converter (included) ink system pen and all the trim is done in 23kt gold plate. The Waterman Ideal Gentleman range was introduced to the market around 1974. It was the top of the line until 1983 when the Le Man 100 & 200 range were introduced. The fountain pens all came with firm 18k solid gold nibs so one could use it when writing documents that needed to be done with carbon copies (remember those?).
