J.N. Lambert (Certified) - Signed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono - Violino - Francia

( luthier J.N. Lambert . Rue , Michel le compte, Paris 1700) During my profesional career I was part of an orquesta employed in the Son Vida Castle Hotel in Palma de Mallorca. This was during the years from 1970 until 1980. In may 1971 John Lennon and Yoko Ono were guests at the Hotel and on coming to the restaurant for dinner were refused a table by the headwaiter because John was not wearing a tie, he made no fuss returned to his room and came back to the dinning room wearing a tie tied aroung his head !!!. What could the headwaiter do ! I took the opportunity to go to their table and played Yesterday for them on the violin, not realising that Yesterday was Paul Mc Cartney’s composition. I asked John if he would autograph my violin and both himself and Yoko very kindly agreed. They used a ballpoint pen to cut into the wood. Many years later I was sent a link refering to an interview in the Playboy magazine in September 1980 in which John talked about the spanish violinist who asked for his autograph . John Lennon sadly died the following December, 08,12,1980 and the magazine published the interview in January 1981. I was really amazed that 9 years later he remembered meeting me.
