A penannular-type silver bracelet featuring an adjustable opening and pointed center, making it easily wearable for a variety of wrist sizes. The bracelet is decorated on each side with a large roundel, featuring a wheel center framed by a band of stylised birds. Arabic calligraphy, motifs, and dotted patterns add further intricacy and detail to the design. The Seljuks were a prominent Muslim dynasty that ruled over parts of Central Asia, and Anatolia from the 11th to the 14th centuries. The Seljuk Empire was founded by Seljuk Turks, who had migrated from their homeland in Central Asia. Under their rule, the Seljuks promoted Islam and supported the arts, including metalworking, calligraphy, and architecture.
