Inscribed by the author on title: 'G.J. Nicol./from/The author' at head; with author's printed name crossed through and Kipling's signature in centre. Bound in the original publisher's gilt decorated red limp leather, gilt top. A rare find. Condition: The binding with some light wear and grubbiness/marking. Boards scuffed. Chipped to head and tail with slight fraying to corners. Sunned to spine. Contents; general toning, but a very good copy overall. Please see our images for further description.
