A gorgeous C. 1903 small poster sized fine Art Nouveau lithographed affiche plate. This is by the German artist J.P.
Krawutschke and features a stylized Art Nouveau maiden in the Mucha manner from the era of the german Jugendstil movement, which was concurrent with the Vienna Succession Movement in Austria.
This Imago-Picta, published in 1903 and printed by Zurich's Frey and Sons, was originally published in a large portfolio of 12 twelve exquisite Art Nouveau prints by J. P. Krawutschke (1865-?), an artist who also created posters under the name " Pik." The Mucha-esque execution of the plate calls stained glass windows to mind, which in fact was the intended destination of several of the designs.
