Rare Japanese Wooden Noh mask Description: •Mask Name: Noh Mask of “Yorimasa” 能面 賴正 This is a mask used exclusively for the old warlord “Yorimasa”, who rose up in arms to subjugate the Heike clan. However, he committed suicide after he lost during the fight in Uji river. Golden eyes and teeth represent he is a spirit/ghost. •Material: Wood •Age: Produced in Showa Era (昭和時代) •Country of origin: Japan •Condition: Used, Very good condition (This is an aged noh mask.
