Magnificent, very rare Early Medieval Viking runic ring with a runic swastika.
For the Vikings, the swastika symbol was a symbol of the god Thor. It is an open type ring.
Last picture is an example of runic script with swastika. From the Sæbø sword from the 9th century.
Material: bronze with a green patina
Date: Early medieval, 8th / 11th century.
Origin: Northern Europe
Dimensions: 20 mm inner ring: approx 18mm
Condition: uncleaned / wearable / perfect, see pictures
