Antique sewing machine by the legendary Seidel & Naumann from Dresden, Germany. Including the oak box case and various small spare parts. Serial number: 1740154 Signed on various places. The rear still has a Dutch sticker with the word: "Onovertrefbaar" (Unconquerable.) Made of cast iron. The machines were powered by hand at the time, the right hand crank has a beautiful wooden handle. This hand crank can be turned in order for the cover to fit on the base. Dimensions case: Width: 49 cm Height: 31 cm Depth: 24.5 cm Condition: Antique, very used machine. There are several signs of wear and age. There is wear on the black coating and decoration, the rubber straps and wheels have dried out, etc. The lid for the box to the right is missing. The cover can no longer be clipped onto the base. Primarily intended as a beautiful decoration. The parts still work but it will take some expertise and repairs/replacements to get the machine back in full working order.
