Three German-made toy sewing machines from the early 20th century. Probably made by Casige. Two of them are in perfect working order, tuey have all parts (except the needles), the third sewing machine is missing some parts. They show signs of age in the form of wear marks, but all retain their distinctive decorations. I draw special attention to the pattern of the third one (which has missing parts), such beautiful abstract art deco decoration is rarely seen on these small masterpieces. Two of the sewing machines are marked with the place of manufacture - Made in Germany - so it is quite certain that they are toys made before World War II. Serial numbers are also stamped on two of the sewing machines. Casige made toy sewing machines between 1902 and 1975, and together with the american Singer and the british Essex, they were the three most important representatives of the genre, making this small collection a real vintage gem.
