Hi all! I offer you a unique small collection of Paddington bears from Eden Toys.
The collection consists of 12 items:
1. The bear is tall (40 cm). Original clothes and rubber boots.
2. 4 medium bears (30 cm).
3. 6 bears 22 cm high with original “Paddington Bear Collectible” badges.
4. 1 bear (13 cm).
The very first soft toy in the form of a Paddington bear was designed in the UK by a woman named Shirley Clarkson. She made it as a Christmas present to her children, Joanna and Jeremy Clarkson (who would go on to become a world-famous automotive journalist). In 1975, the American company Eden Toys acquired a license to manufacture and sell Paddington Bears worldwide. Eden toys stopped selling teddy bears at the end of the 90s. That is why Eden toys bears are of particular interest.
