She was a member of the Japanese artist association Nihon Hanga-in and well known in Japan. The Kiyomizu-Dera temple is an important Buddhist complex in Kyoto, dedicated to the deity Kannon. According to tradition, it was founded in the late 8th century by a Hosso Buddhist monk named Enchin, and completed under the patronage of a noble warrior, Sakanoue no Tamuramaro. Personally numbered by her and signed in pencil. Number 51 out of 200. There is a slide ripple in the upper left of the paper. There still is a good side margin when it's framed.
