Beautiful brutalist flame-cut brass pendant, designed by the famous Svend Aage Holm Sørensen Denmark for his own company Holm Sørensen&Co. Model 6395, but called the onion (you can see why) Very beautiful lamp, composed of twelve leaf-shaped serrated brass plates that have been acid-treated and flame-cut. Very decorative and made in his well-known brutalist style. The lamp has original ceiling cup and safety chain for hanging. No flaws or imperfections, just natural wear and tear (we have not polished the brass, so they have the most beautiful patina). The previous owner has given it some gold colour in a few places on the "leaves", why is not known. It measures approx. 40 x 40 cm. Sold without bulb (has a standard E26/E27 socket). Packed securely and shipped with insurance.
