Offered is a classic Art Nouveau gilt bronze candlestick depicting a slender, graceful woman who throws her arms high above her head, where they intertwine and turn into three tulips. While her hands become the stems of the tulips, her feet melt into the ground, becoming an extension of the flowers that reach above her head. She wears a very light dress that wraps around her body very nicely and is shaped very nicely on the base of the statue. The tulips on top of the statue can be used as a candlestick. The statue is in very good condition (no chips, breaks, cracks or damage). The statue has a very beautiful patina consistent with the process and age. The signature "Bate" is visible on the base of the statue and the name "N. Toor" is visible at the bottom of the side of the right leg.
