Technics - SL-1810 - Trasmissione diretta Giradischi

A very solidly build turntable in near mint condition. As can be seen in the photos, this SL 1810 is in near mint condition and fully original. There are almost no signs of wear, which is unusual for a record player of 40 years old. The dust cover also has slight signs of use but no deep scratches. This has not been polished but good polishing will give a brand new look. The turntable will be delivered with extra items like disc cleaners, extra 3-4 Stanton needles stylus and original manual. This is a “no nonsense” turntable for the real vinyl enthusiast. The arm is lowered onto the record manually, and the arm is manually brought back to position at the end of the record. Records turn properly. The SL 1810 direct drive manual turntable was released in 1977. In that time, these were already highly sought-after record players, like the SL 1600 (automatic) and the SL 1700 (semi-automatic). Nowadays, this is a highly sought-after player because of its simplicity and its very beautiful and uncluttered design. The SL 1810 is similar to the SL-1200 MK1 with electronic speed control and the same quick starting direct drive motor and heavy metal base. The steel sub chassis is suspended on the housing of the cast alloy by means of adjustable springs and rubber. This makes the SL 1810 very insensitive to vibration from outside. SPECS: Type: manual turntable. Drive method: direct drive. Control method: servo control Motor: DC motor Platter: 330mm aluminium alloy die-cast Speeds: 33 and 45 rpm. Pitch control: 10% Wow and flutter: 0.025 % WRMS Rumble: -73 dB Tonearm: universal static balance type Effective length: 230 mm Overhang: 15 mm Dimensions: 125 x 453 x 369 mm
