Long emakimono landscapes, hand painted, sealed (unfortunately I cannot read the seals) 8 large sceneries with shodo (calligraphy) Lacquered tomobako (box, high quality), silk mounting (orimon patterns woven). Any damage can be seen in photos. 3-4 very small worm holes on 1 single scenery, not affecting the image itself, yellowish due to age. Unfortunately all the calligraphy is written in kuzushiji (cursive flow-like writing style) which for me makes it impossible to read but looking at the brushwork and high quality materials used, I definitely can say it was a professional painter. Period is mid/late Meiji. Shipping insured and express by DPD/FedEx/UPS reaching anywhere in EU & US in 4-6 days. #japanweek
