Aged for 24 months in 225-liter French oak barrels. Bottled in 1980. A minimum of 48 months in bottle before being marketed. Tasting note: Medium-layer brownish cherry color with a deep, clean and bright rim, orange reflections. On the nose it is initially very complete and with symptoms of good evolution, although it needs to be ventilated to grow. The tertiary component predominates, providing soft toasted notes with a classic Riojan profile. There are wine staves, creamy toasts, bitter cocoa, and a slight vegetable note, almost minty, that melts into the ripe red fruit. This wine has been kept in our cellar for all these years.
