It presents an allegory of morning - dawn, following the example of Karl Sterrer - an outstanding Austrian artist.
A bas-relief personifying dawn - the figure of a naked young man flying among the clouds, wrapped in a wind-blown sash, with rays around his head and a torch in his raised hand.
He is accompanied by a cupid spilling roses, under them a vase full of roses and winged putti - winged angels - kissing each other.
Dimensions with frame 55cm*29cm*3cm.
Very good condition, minimal signs of use and it looks great. Please, see photos for better impression.
