A very old traditional Usaburo Kokeshi -handmade wooden Japanese doll- in very good shape, made by master Okamoto Usaburo.
This is a very rare item. It is not very often seen, especially not in this size:
Dimensions: 32 x 9 x 9 cm,
Weight: 650 grams.

Made in Okamoto's earlier years as a kokeshi artists, this item is around 70 years old.
It has acquired a beautiful golden patina over the years and has the original sticker and autograph.
It has no damages or scratches, just the discolorings that comes with age...
With the very detailed and mesmerizing countryside scene painted on the body and the sereen facial expression, this Kokeshi is a must have for any Usaburo collection.
