Unique scrap-book album seemingly containing all daily and Sunday episodes from 22-6-1941 till 23-6-1942 featuring The Gumps. The strips were carefully cut out of newspapers and glued into the album that counts 120 (!) pages. Very rare to see a complete run of episodes like this. At the end of the book there is an article written by artist Gus Edson that was published in October 1942. An historical document. Album size 37x31 The Gumps is a comic strip about a middle-class family. It was created by Sidney Smith in 1917, launching a 42-year run in newspapers until 1959.
