Antoni Tapies - Copa Mundial 1982 Poster Original - Anni ‘80
This vintage poster was designed and signed by Antoni Tapies and represents the city of Barcelona.. It possibly displays an abstract foot kicking a ball on a background of newspapers. It is overall in very good condition, but has a very slight fold on the bottom left (see last image)
This is one is an original of 15 different posters that were commissioned for the World Football Cup “ Copa del Mundo de Futbol España 1982". Each poster was designed by a different artist and each poster represents the individual host cities/venues where the World Cup matches would be played.
This poster was printed in 1981 and first used in 1982.
