A mixed metal Buddhist travelling talisman from the ancient Golden Triangle (Laos,Thailand,Burma) Indochinese culture, second millennium AD .
In good condition. It has been cleaned, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original artisan handwork in a modern brass frame. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased 1994 in Laos by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
