The Elements of Time collection represents architectural fragments of time. They are objects that reflect time, space and place transformed into soft elements to sit on. A place from elsewhere, with ornaments of the past, as a place for here and now. To give a new identity to the existing world surrounding us. For the first time you can sit on a Baroque ceiling or touch a cassette from the Neoclassicism.
The distinguishing ornamental characteristic of Art Nouveau is its undulating asymmetrical line, often taking the form of flower stalks and buds, vine tendrils, insect wings, and other delicate and sinuous natural objects; the line may be elegant and graceful or infused with a powerfully rhythmic and whiplike force. This piece shows four dragonflies from a ceiling near the canals of Amsterdam.
