Alessi Giulio Iacchetti & Matteo Ragni - Servizio di posate (12) - ''Moscardino'' - Acciaio inossidabile 18/10.

Set of twelve multi-purpose cutlery small and essential, this multi-purpose cutlery designed in 2000 by Giulio Iacchetti and Matteo Ragni represents a real innovation within its type, synthesising in a single tool the functions of two fundamental pieces of cutlery for bringing food to the mouth: fork and spoon. This highly innovative cutlery set was awarded with the Compasso d'Oro in 2001 due to its contribution to the evolution of the contemporary table. Compact and handy, Moscardino is designed to respond to the changing habits of eating and receiving: for eating a meal quickly at home or during a trip, for a standing lunch or an informal aperitif. It is also ideal for serving small bites and finger food in a new and original way. This cutlery is dedicated for those who love to organise informal parties and aperitifs, without renouncing refinement, and for chefs of the art of finger food, to offer their delicacies in style. All the twelve multi-purpose cutlery are in a new and unused condition. Delivered with original packaging. Dishwasher-safe. The set is part of the Objets-Bijoux Collection by Alessi: Small functional objects with an evocative design, designed as jewellery to be carried along, intriguing for their dual nature: instrumental and ornamental. The shapes of the Objets-Bijoux refer to archetypal icons, immediately recognisable and resonant in everyone's memory. About the Designers: Matteo Ragni, born in 1972, won twice the Compasso d'Oro with Giulio Iacchetti, in 2001 with Moscardino for Pandora Design, which is part of MoMa's permanent collection, in 2014 with the series of manhole covers for Montini. In 2008 he founded TobeUs, a brand of wooden toy cars handcrafted in Italy. He has received over the years many other prestigious awards such as the Wallpaper Design Award (2008), Italy’s National Award for Innovation “Premio dei Premi” established by the President of the Italian Republic (2012) and the Good Design Award (2015, 2021). Alongside his career as a designer, he also lectures at various Italian and international universities and works as an art director and architect. Giulio Iacchetti, industrial designer since 1992, designs for many brands. The distinctive characteristics of his work is the research of new object typologies, like the Moscardino. In 2009 he was awarded the prize for innovation – Premio dei Premi – for the Coop Eureka project. In May 2009 the Triennale di Milano held a solo exhibition entitled Giulio Iacchetti. Disobedient objects.
