Sophie Jansens inspiration for the Impala Bed came from the desert. The amazing sand dunes were the inspiration for the pattern of the beautiful Italian veneers. To accentuate the elongated sand dunes, she choose to make a platform bed with connected nightstands. The width of the bed and nightstands together, create this infinite illusion of the pattern. The king size mattress intensifies the feeling of a peaceful 'no man's land' like the desert. This is the place you come to rest in the most luxurious way.
