Ceratosaurus is a genus of theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, approximately 155 to 145 million years ago. It was a medium-sized carnivorous dinosaur known for its distinctive horn-like projection on its snout and a row of small bony knobs or crests along its skull.It had sharp, serrated teeth, which were curved backward. Its jaws were strong and capable of delivering powerful bites to capture and kill prey. Ceratosaurus was a carnivorous predator, feeding on other dinosaurs and possibly smaller animals. It likely hunted by ambushing its prey and using its sharp teeth and powerful jaws to kill and consume it.
