A large Kangxi era charger plate, measuring circa 35.3cm in diameter and weighing 1.5Kg, finely decorated in underglaze blue to depict a central basket of flowers surrounded by a ring of leaves and fruits, the wide rim with four cartouches depicting blossoming branches on a ground of reverse painted intersecting circles. Marked to the reverse with (insect?) symbol.
Condition: Broken in half and glued, further damages. Nonetheless in our opinion a fine piece, worthy of a more professional restoration.
This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
