A real myth, a red that made the history of Italian wine.
The first Sangiovese to be refined in barrique, the first wine assembled with non-traditional varieties, among the first reds of Chianti not to include white grapes in its assembly.
Produced from a careful selection of Sangiovese, over 80%, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc after a maturation in barrels of about 12 months, it rests in the bottle for a further year of aging giving this wine an intense ruby red colour with purplish reflections.
