Average bead size: 3-4 mm. - Turquoise was very closely associated with the Goddess of Joy and Fertility, Hathor, who was one of the most important divinities in Ancient Egypt. - Prized for thousands of years, Lapis was a favoured stone in ancient Egypt, where it was believed to lead the soul into immortality and open the heart to love. The royal stone, it was said to contain the soul of the gods. - Taweret is the mothergoddes/goddes of protection at birth and the first nursing period.
