【Important notes】 ・International Buyers: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. ・Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These duties are paid to your country's customs office and not to us. Prompt payment of these fees is necessary to ensure delivery of your item. ・We deeply value your understanding regarding the blade's export process. The duration to secure an export permit might extend up to 3-4 weeks, and shipping, based on the destination, could take an additional month. In some instances, sea freight may be chosen, which might lengthen the delivery period to 2-3 months. ・Considering the diligence required for export permit procedures, we'd like to emphasize the importance of commitment after purchase. If the auction is annulled post-confirmation, there's a need to retract the said permit. In such situations, to cover administrative efforts, a fee equating to 10% of the auction's final amount would be requested via PayPal. ・We kindly request bids from those who fully acknowledge these conditions. Please be informed that the original registration document is required to be returned to official authorities, so a copy will be provided with the sword. 【Product details】 Embrace the spirit of the Samurai with this authentic, unsigned Japanese katana. This full-length sword is housed in a white scabbard for a safe storage. The mountings are fitted on a wooden blade, which is traditionally used for training or ceremonial purposes. Enveloped in a dark, textured lacquer, the scabbard of this sword exudes a dignified elegance. The scabbard is accentuated with finely wrought metal fittings, including the end cap, cord fixture, and scabbard mouth, which are adorned with the revered Kenkatabami crest, a symbol of martial prowess and enduring prosperity. This blade, though unsigned, has been recognized and certified by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (NBTHK) as both a “Precious Sword” and attributed to “Kaneharu”. The certificate in the yellow envelope is not included, but the accompanying paper indicates that such a certificate was once present. Included with this sword is a copy of the original Firearms and Swords Registration Certificate, as the original is returned to the authorities. The certificate, issued by Kagoshima Prefecture (No. 19358), verifying its authenticity and providing essential details such as length (73.4 cm), curvature (2.2 cm), and the four polished peg holes on the tang. Dated April 14, 1973, this document attests to the sword's registered status in Japan. Please note, due to size restrictions, this item cannot be shipped to Spain. The sword displays some signs of wear, including minor scratches on the blade and slightly loose in the collar. For a detailed assessment of its condition, refer to the included photographs.
