While it is now globally recognized as a video game company, Nintendo continues to produce and sell Ogura Hyakunin Isshu to this day.
Hyakunin Isshu consists of short poems written by 100 poets. The reading cards feature portraits of the poets along with the full text of their poems, while the grabbing cards only have the latter part of the poems written on them.
The game involves a reader reciting the reading cards, with players competing to quickly grab the corresponding grabbing card.
