Likely inspired by the samurai of the Edo period, these figures are a testament to the esteemed martial class known for their bravery and loyalty. Each samurai is attired in intricately detailed armor, poised with weapons that speak of their readiness for battle. Included in this set are two traditional lanterns adorned with flame-like decorations, atop poles draped with red tassels bearing a family crest—indicative of a battlefield command post. This setup seems to recreate a scene from a samurai encampment, complete with accessories like Japanese swords, bows, arrows, and banners. These artifacts bear the marks of time—scuffs, stains, minor scratches, lacquer chips, and signs of wear are evident. Notably, the young figure has experienced some hair loss, with the remnants preserved in a plastic bag. The red tassels show signs of wear, including small holes. Banners have some tears and stains.
