This Talisker 12 years old is a limited edition, originally only produced for the Friends of the Classic Malts. Like the other Taliskers, this is a whiskey with notes of pepper with a warming aftertaste, but with slightly more fruit aromas. Colour: light amber. Nose: first fruity aromas of dried orange peel and dried apricots with a light hint of machine oil and notes of a leveled match, at the end aromas of toffee emerge. Taste: pleasant with salty notes of the sea and aromas of fruit and notes of fireworks. With some water firmer notes of salt become stronger. The aftertaste is long, warming, slightly salty with the well-known Talisker pepper.
