The pages are clean without any markings, and the glueing of the binding is fine. There is some age-related yellowing and the covers show signs of use. Small sticker covers previous owner's name. The publication gives an introduction to Scarpa’s personal life and development as an architect and then presents nine of his key works: Possagno Plaster-Cast Gallery, Castelvecchio Museum, Olivetti Showroom, Querini-Sampalia Foundation Ground Floor and Courtyard, Gavina Showroom, Balboni House, Brion Family Cemetery, Banca Popolare di Verona, and Ottolenghi House. Another section in the publication is devoted to Scarpa’s drawings. The theoretical contributions about Carlo Scarpa and his architecture are written by Francesco Dal Co, Fumihiko Maki, Hiromi Fujii, Tadashi Yokoyama, and Shin Takamatsu.
