Made of opaline glass with a faint green colour of uranium oxide, which means that in addition to looking fantastic in the sunlight, it also glows neon green in UV light. Edge, foot and handle in silver-plated light metal. It can be polished to be completely shiny, but I think the dark and uniform patina is really beautiful and testifies to the set's age in a classy way.
