Christel and Christer Holmgren are the designers behind this Hornblower candelabra, created for erik bagger, Denmark. The robust cast-iron candlestick is a relaunch of their original Holmgren candleholder designed by them in the 1960s.
Erik Bagger is a leading Danish industrial designer and founder of design company eb - Erik Bagger, Denmark, responsible for classic glassware designed for the Copenhagen Opera and MoMA, New York.
The fantastic retro-candleholder has room for six candles (2cm diameter; candles not included) of varying lengths, resulting in a beautiful light source. It has enameled feet to prevent scratching of the underlying surface. The base is marked "eb Denmark" with the company logo. This item is new and comes in an original box (there is some superficial damage to the box).
