To collect this work it is necessary to know its history. This piece of raw canvas was not initially intended to be a painting. Has been a protector for the floor or walls for years while I made other paintings in my studio. Over time, traces of paint, charcoal, graphite and enamel have spontaneously sedimented to which I have never paid attention. Only in the last few weeks this canvas caught my attention and become something more than just a rag. I dedicated myself to adding some minimal elements with spray and acrylic, without altering the original spontaneously formed traces. Maybe it's just my opinion but I found it truly poetic and evocative. I consider it a painting that has developed over the years and that has changed together with me, in my studio. The canvas is rough and mistreated, the edges are cut irregularly and is also painted on the back. It is stiff in some points and softer in others. Don't expect to receive a new and perfect canvas like the other paintings of mine, but once you see it in person you will fall in love with it like I did.
