Since the 1980s he has followed the processes of visual communication by frequenting the Fincantieri-Wartzila photography club in which he held numerous positions, until becoming vice president. In that context he managed the Fenice exhibition hall for ten years, taking care of the review and presentation of more than 100 exhibitions, alternating famous and emerging authors, historical reviews with contemporary movements, tradition with innovation. This predisposition for research and the staging of exhibitions led him to be the curator of the photographic space at the Trieste café in Ronchi dei Legionari for several years. With his appointment as provincial delegate of the FIAF he led the coordination between the clubs and the federation His curiosity towards the different forms of photography pushed him to delve deeper into the theme of reportage, with which in mind he created the "city of Trieste for reportage" award, recognition for those who, in the field of photography, travel through the warm places of the earth search for truth. He was part of the organization of the triestèfotografia festival for ten editions and is photo editor for the contemporary art magazine Juliet. Despite not having resisted the practicality of digital photography, he remains very attached to the black and white technique which he creates in large format, taking care of all its steps, with particular commitment to the photographic portrait, in search not only of the geometries of the face, but of that meeting of soul-revealing glances. His artistic research was rewarded in 2011 with the invitation to be part of a particularly selected group of artists for the creation of a themed calendar. His collaboration continued until the end of the calendar cycle (in 2014) with a collective exhibition at the prestigious Esedra di Levante of Villa Manin. Numerous prizes and recognitions obtained.
