Lovely silver (.925) handmade pendant manufactured with the ancient jewellery technique known as filigrana (filigree).
This pendant shows inside an original Roman emperor Caracalla (198-217 AD) silver denarius minted in Rome.
The coin show the Carcalla laureate head right and complete legends:
ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT Laureate head right.
P M TR P XIIII COS III P P Virtus standing right with spear and parazonium.
RIC 187.
Total silver jewel weight: 6.68 g., 30 mm.
